We are proud to share our latest milestone: an 𝗮𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for a 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁, designed to make aviation 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 and 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁.

INDIGO is developing an 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺-𝗵𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 with:

🚀 𝗛𝘆𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱-𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 for lower emissions
🛫 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁-𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 for better aerodynamics
🔋 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝘀 (electric, SAF, or a combination)

By optimizing these elements, INDIGO aims to reduce noise and emissions, especially around airports, making air travel 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 and airport-friendly. 🌱🏙️

🎧 Our latest simulation focuses on 𝗮𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 on the fuselage:
👉 On the left side, you see the 𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀 from five propellers.
👉 On the right side, the 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 are represented as disks.

This work is followed by 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 with our in-house CAA 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 hashtagPIANO to improve the prediction accuracies of the simplified methods and to be able to evaluate the INDIGO design in more detail.
With this, INDIGO is paving the way for next-gen, eco-friendly, and quiet aircraft! ✈️
