INDIGO presentations at ICAS 2024 with photos
Great presentations at ICAS 2024, Florence.
We’re proud to share that Rauno Cavallaro , the coordinator of the INDIGO EU Project, recently represented us at the ICAS 2024 Conference in Florence!
Rauno led discussions on our integrated approach, leveraging hashtagMDO to guide the optimal design of Large Aspect Ratio Wings with Distributed Hybrid Electric Propulsion. This methodology is vital for achieving our mission to reduce emissions, noise, and the environmental impact on airport neighborhoods.
Special thanks to coauthors Pablo Norczyk Simon, who further developed our in-house MDAO platform, and Andrea Cini. The multidisciplinary efforts of the entire INDIGO team have been invaluable in making this possible.

Also Karl presented on our cutting-edge research in hybrid-electric aircraft propulsion, focusing on how we can leverage advanced power training system featuring hybrid electric distributed propulsion to reduce emissions and noise in the neighborhood of airports. His contributions are key to moving us closer to a future of sustainable, greener aviation.
